our Local Tour Manager was AMAZING!! She listened to what we wanted and needed from the tour and delivered every time! She also knew the city like the back of her hand so when there were roadblocks or streets closed, she was able to turn on a dime and get us where we needed to be. She had such great nuggets of wisdom for the students at all of the places we went. The kids still talk about her and all wanted a picture with her on the last day!!
The Armed Services medley touched me far more than I can say. My kids loved singing that one the most (others were more moving to them, but this one was fun). Then, when we got there and the conductor turned to salute each branch, I lost it. That night, when we went to the concert on the lawn of the Capital Building, at the end of the concert they played the backing track and my kids sang those songs at the top of their lungs in our Nation’s Capital. I will never forget that moment
