Sousa Band Festival

Music Celebrations International is pleased to present the Sousa Band Festival, an exclusive music event that takes place annually in the Spring and is historically held in the Concert Hall of Washington, D.C.’s John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. Four select concert bands will be featured in performance at this historic concert venue. All participating bands are selected by application process through Music Celebrations.
Capital Orchestra Festival

The Capital Orchestra Festival is an exclusive music event historically held President’s Day Weekend in the Concert Hall of Washington, D.C.’s John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. Four select orchestras will be featured in performance at this historic concert venue. All participating orchestras are selected by application process through Music Celebrations.
Percy Grainger Wind Band Festival
Chicago, Illinois | April 12-13, 2024
Orchestra Hall at Symphony Center
The annual Percy Grainger Wind Band Festival will feature four outstanding wind ensembles conducting featured, stand-alone performances of Percy Grainger and other select literature in a matinee performance in Chicago’s Historic Orchestra Hall at Symphony Center. Each ensemble will also take part in a clinic with a noted band conductor.

Viennese Masters Orchestra Invitational

Music Celebrations International is pleased to present the Viennese Masters Orchestra Invitational, an exclusive opportunity for orchestras to perform the works of these and other great Viennese masters of music composition on the world’s premier concert stage – the Stern Auditorium/Perelman Stage at Carnegie Hall. Four auditioned orchestras will be featured in performance at this historic concert venue. All participating ensembles are selected by application process through Music Celebrations.
D-Day Memorial Wind Band Tour
France | June 2 – 8, 2024
Paris & Normandy
The D-Day 80 Memorial Wind Band will be a highlight of the D-Day 80 Memorial Concert at Omaha Beach on June 6, 2024. Wind bands and individual band performers from across the United States are invited to participate in this once-in-a-lifetime experience. Conducted by COLONEL DENNIS M. LAYENDECKER – Former Commander & Conductor of the United States Air Force Band and Orchestra, and retired Chair of Music at George Mason University – the mass band will rehearse in Paris, and present a concert there, in advance of the June 6 performance in Normandy.
Dublin Choral Festival
Dublin, Ireland | June 19 – 23, 2024
St. Patrick’s Cathedral
Facing the haunting outline of the majestic Wicklow Mountains, Ireland’s Fair City holds true to a 1,000-year Celtic heritage that inspires her music and artistry to this day. The Féile Córúil Dublin, or Dublin Choral Festival, will celebrate this great heritage of Celtic musical inspiration. The festival will feature mixed-voice choirs and individual singers from a variety of backgrounds joining together to sing en masse. Three days of rehearsals will lead participants to a grand finale performance in the historic and stunning St. Patrick’s Cathedral in Dublin.

St. Peter’s Basilica | Chiesa di Sant’Ignazio di Loyola
The Rome International Choral Festival is one of Rome’s premier annual summer music events. The fourteenth-annual festival will feature Mass participation at St. Peter’s Basilica in the Vatican and a formal finale concert at Rome’s Chiesa di Sant’Ignazio di Loyola. The festival chorus will include mixed-voice singers and choirs from across North America that will come together to rehearse and perform en masse.

Paris Choral Festival
Paris, France | July 2 – 9, 2024

In 1994, Music Celebrations International, partnering with the United States Department of Defense and Department of the Interior, was recognized as the official tour operator to bring performing ensembles from the United States to France to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of D-Day and the Liberation of France. MCI clients performed for WWII Veterans on June 6th at the American Cemetery in Coleville, Normandy. In 2004, 2014, and 2019 MCI organized significant tours and events to commemorate the 60th, 70th, and 75th anniversaries.
To continue this celebration of the centuries-old Franco-American friendship, and to commemorate another milestone anniversary, Music Celebrations International is pleased to announce the Paris Choral Festival taking place on July 2-9, 2024 (80th Anniversary of D-Day and the Liberation of France) under the artistic direction of Dr. Craig Jessop.

The Summa Cum Laude Festival in Vienna is Austria’s premier global youth music festival for choirs, bands, and orchestras. Taking place every July in Vienna’s two main classical concert venues, the Golden Hall of the Musikverein and the Konzerthaus, it offers an international environment where a thousand young musicians enjoy intercultural exchanges and build bridges that span continents.

New Year’s Festival Dublin

Music Celebrations International is thrilled to partner with New Year’s Festival Dublin (NYF Dublin), Fáilte Ireland, and the Dublin City Council to present this unforgettable experience for marching bands to kick off the new year in Dublin, Ireland! Now in its ninth year, NYF Dublin is Ireland’s biggest New Year Celebration. The festival includes spectacular events taking place over 2 days. Bands will have the opportunity to march on New Year’s Eve before thousands as part of the NYF Dublin procession. This family friendly event includes street performers, dancers, artists, and bands from across the world.
