“We had a great experience at the Percy Grainger Wind Band Festival! Dr. Mallory Thompson’s clinic was an outstanding event for our students. I was able to observe her rehearsal strategies and was delighted to have someone of her caliber working with our students. Our students had not experienced anything like this. It was an outstanding opportunity for our students: a great mix of musical and fun adventures. My college dean accompanied the band to the Percy Grainger Wind Band Festival and she was also pleased with the performance opportunities and the experience our college had with MCI. Since we had such a great experience, I hope that this will be the beginning of musical travel experience for our future college band students.”
