The CHORALE
Our fourth performing tour abroad with MCI did not disappoint. In fact, it is probably at the top of our list. Singers love to sing for people who like to listen. Our audiences in each of the venues in Hungary, Austria and the Czech Republic filled the pews (chairs had to be set up to accommodate those who came), and were generous with their appreciation, encouraging several encores. It was clear that our language was useless until we began to sing. The language of music truly draws us close together as human beings I’ve heard nothing but positive feedback from our 57 travelers.
Everything from hotel, food, scenery, venues – all were the best. Our Czech tour manager, Karel, guided us effortlessly through three different countries with three different languages and three different currencies! He was a gentleman with a good sense of humor, whose goal was to please and answer our every need. Armin, our bus driver was an expert behind the wheel and a great help loading and unloading – luggage AND people!
Local tour guides were the best we’ve ever experienced and made a real difference as we soaked up the vast history they wanted to share with us.
