Summit Choral Society sings in the the Memorial Day choral festival

Thank you, Music Celebrations, for a fabulous trip to Washington, DC! There are not many things that would take me away from Home and Family on Memorial Day Weekend, but singing with a large chorus at The Kennedy Center with Dr. Jessop is one.  My Memorial Day weekend trip to Washington, DC and the Kennedy Center was all I hoped for.

Our group was wonderfully welcomed and enjoyed the group performances and the patriotic music. It was an honor to practice and perform for such a special occasion.  Working with Dr. Jessop was an experience of a lifetime, and I so appreciate those things he taught us.  Singing in the Kennedy Center was such a wonderful experience, as was singing for the parade.  This trip reminded me why I love singing in choirs. Thank you again.
