This was my second international trip and third overall with Music Celebrations International, and I could not be more grateful and pleased with the performance opportunities, tour management, and level of professionalism they bring to their work. After two years of planning, we had 217 singers, chaperones, and friends and family members tour with us, and MCI’s ability to seamlessly move so many people and provide meaningful moments of celebration and community, all within the perimeters of an international performance tour, is second-to-none. They take a director’s grandiose dream and turn it into a reality. 

The opportunity to perform in Ireland allowed our students to shine and create memories for a lifetime. This truly exemplified the true meaning of excellence in music. MCI went above and beyond to create worthwhile performances, including a collaboration with the Munster String Quartet from Cork, one of Ireland’s most sought-after string quartets. Their production of our concerts, from acquiring a rental piano, riser construction, and heavy advertising, resulted in performances for several hundred locals and a memory that will last a lifetime. 

All of our tours, meals, hotels, and sightseeing activities were planned exceptionally well, giving the singers ample time to explore. Highlights include a feast at Taylor’s Three Rock with award-winning Irish dancers, superb musicians, and delicious traditional Irish food, a picture-perfect-day exploring the monastic site in Glendalough, County Wicklow, and our final day spent looking out at the Atlantic at the Cliffs of Moher.

We are already in full swing planning future tours. I am so deeply grateful to all of the staff at Music Celebrations for this phenomenal tour and for making travel accessible to my students.
