The Millikin University Choir recently returned from a tour to the Baltics where they performed a number of concerts in Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia. One of the highlights they had was performing in St. Catherine’s Church. The audience consisted of about 400 people including performers from their host choir at Riomeris University.
They also performed at St. Peter’s Church with the Swedbank Choir. They had a great exchange and concert with the host choir and were able to perform for a responsive audience in a tourist area of Riga.
The Baltics continue to be proven as an ideal destination to perform for warm and receptive audiences as well as collaborate with local ensembles and schools to share different cultures and music.
