Mauri McLean’s love for singing started at a very young age. She has been a part of various show choirs, a cappella choirs, and has been classically trained in opera. She has also enjoyed leading worship for church services and singing the National Anthem at sporting events. Her experience with touring began after traveling numerous times on tour as part of the Desert Vista High School A Cappella Choir, led by Grammy Award winning director, Andrew De Valk.
Mauri has traveled extensively throughout Europe, touring, producing festivals, and inspecting venues throughout Italy, France, Germany, Austria, Ireland, Scotland, Slovenia, England, Spain, France, Czechia, and Switzerland.
Since 2014, Mauri has assisted in planning and developing hundreds of tours all around the world for bands, choirs, orchestras, and dance ensembles. Career highlights include annual production of the National Memorial Day Parade and Choral Festival, National Independence Day Parade, production of the Rome International Choral Festival, producing numerous events at the Kennedy Center, Chicago’s Orchestra Hall at Symphony Center, the Great Britain Choral Festival Commemorating the 100th Anniversary of the Armistice Ending WWI with the late Stephen Cleobury, and the production of the first parade on Omaha Beach on June 6, 2019 to commemorate the 75th anniversary of D-Day.
Mauri is a native Phoenician, and attended Desert Vista High School and Arizona State University. She graduated from Arizona State University with a Tourism Development degree and Special Events Certificate.
Mauri resides in Phoenix, Arizona with her husband, Kenny, their son, and their rescue dog Jean-Pierre. Her hobbies include singing in a local community choir, scuba diving, and of course, traveling!
