Lincoln High School Tours the Baltics

“Traveling to the Baltics with the Lincoln High School Music program was the highlight of my teaching year, and the best overall tour I have ever led.

Touring with high schoolers internationally allows for deeper connections and buy-in to our musical communities, musical and performance growth, social connection, and an expanded worldview.  Students also now have a greater appreciation and pride for our American music, and also the music that we learned from the Baltic region.

I was so impressed by the people in the Baltics and how much they value singing, culture and music.  We played and sang for full and appreciative audiences.  Upon returning from the trip I notice students deeply invested in our community both musically and socially.  It was a truly transformative and life-changing trip and I would highly recommend it to others.”
