I had easy access to my tour manager, who was able to answer my questions quickly and completely. Once the trip had begun, there was someone with us every step of the way, clarifying all details and arrangements. It was an immense pleasure to play in a world-class hall. Perhaps most impressive was having a full 30 minutes for our sound check, this is downright luxurious compared to other festivals. And it was so necessary, since the only acoustic my students are used to is our lousy high school auditorium!
All in all, I felt like I was set up for success in my goal to provide my students with opportunities and experiences beyond our day-to-day routine.”
