Kerry Young
Executive Assistant to the President
Kerry Young began her career in the performance-tour industry in 2005 while living in her home state of North Carolina. In 2012, she and her husband Ryan decided to move across the country to Arizona so she could join the team at Music Celebrations International (MCI) as the Executive Assistant to the President. After 11 years in Arizona, Kerry and her husband decided it was time to move back to the East Coast where she works for MCI remotely.
Since joining MCI in 2012, Kerry has been directly involved with each aspect of the company and is a valuable asset to John Wiscombe on all day-to-day operations. Given her strong experience in the performance-tour industry, she can transition from department to department to advise and assist as needed.
Her MCI career highlights include being a part of producing numerous special events, such as the National Memorial Day Choral Festival and the International Choral Festivals that MCI produces in Rome, Dublin, and Salzburg. She takes great pride in the National Parades that MCI produces along Constitution Avenue in Washington, DC and looks forward to these large, nationally-recognized parades. She has led many of the MCI Director Preview Tours to Ireland, Italy, and Austria, and she thoroughly enjoys familiarization tours with her fellow colleagues, which serve to greatly enhance our knowledge and expertise on events and destinations.
Kerry understands the value that MCI brings to the clients we serve, and she strives daily to make sure we always remember that our tours change lives. Kerry strongly believes that what we do is important, special, and unique!
Kerry attended Harnett Central High School in Angier, North Carolina, and studied at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. She holds degrees in Business Management and Marketing as well as a minor in Spanish. Kerry currently resides in Summerville, South Carolina with her husband, Ryan, and their two dogs, Palmer and Bailey. Kerry and Ryan spend most of their free time on the golf course or traveling around the country to visit family and friends.
