Tour #1 - 5 nights | 7 days
Berlin | Halle | Leipzig | Potsdam

Arrive in Berlin. Take a panoramic introductory tour of Berlin’s highlights and a Spree River Cruise. Take a half-day sightseeing of the eastern sector of Berlin with its famous Unter den Linden Strasse, the Russian War Memorial, and the world famous Pergamon Altar. See what remains of "The wall," and "Checkpoint Charley." Also see Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church, Berlin Dom, Reichstag, etc. Possible afternoon clinic or school exchange. Performance as part of the American Celebration of Music in Germany. Transfer to Leipzig via Halle to visit the birthplace of Händel. Take a guided tour of Leipzig including entrance to St. Thomas Church (famous because Bach was the organist and choirmaster here, and it is the home of the St. Thomas Boys Choir, one of the most famous in the world). Also visit the Bach Museum. The reconstructed Bose House stands in the shadow of the Thomaskirche. It was once the home of the Bach family and now contains the largest Bach archives in Germany, as well as many mementos of the composer. Optional afternoon In the Footsteps of Composers tour including Schumann House, Wagner Memorial, Leipzig Opera House, St. Nicholas School, St. Nicholas Church, Old City Hall, Mendelssohn House, etc. Performance as part of the American Celebration of Music in Germany. Tour #2 - 5 nights | 7 days
Dachau | Munich | Neuschwanstein | Salzburg

Arrive in Munich. Transfer to Dachau to visit the former Nazi concentration camp. Take a guided tour of Munich including the Marienplatz (with its famous Glockenspiel), Frauenkirche, Hofbräuhaus, and entrance to Nymphenburg Palace. Performance as part of the American Celebration of Music in Germany. Take a full-day tour through the Bavarian Alps including Neuschwanstein Castle (including entrance and uphill transport). Also visit the charming Wieskirche and Oberammergau, the site of the world famous Passion Play which is performed every 10 years. Performance as part of the American Celebration of Music in Germany. Full-day excursion to Salzburg. Enjoy a guided tour including Mirabell Palace and Gardens, Mozart Square, the Dom, University Church, entrance to the Mozarthaus, and a cable car ride up to the Fortress. Dresden | Leipzig | Berlin

Arrive at Berlin airport. Transfer to Dresden. Take a guided tour including the world-famous Zwinger Palace with its Old Masters Gallery, the Cathedral, and the Neustadt Quarter. Performance as part of the American Celebration of Music in Germany. Transfer to Leipzig for a guided tour including entrance to St. Thomas Church (famous because Bach was the organist and choirmaster here, and it is the home of the St. Thomas Boys Choir, one of the most famous in the world). Also visit the Bach Museum. Performance as part of the American Celebration of Music in the Czech Republic. Take a half-day tour of Musical Prague including entrance to the Mozart Museum and Dvorak home. On display at the Bertramka Museum are all available memorabilia of Mozart, namely personal keepsakes, musical instruments, manuscripts, letters, and other documents testifying to Mozart's close relationship to Prague and to distinguished personalities of the then affluent Czech culture, have been gathered in this exhibition.
