Tour #1 – 6 nights | 8 days
Dresden | Leipzig | Berlin
Arrive in Berlin. Transfer to Dresden. Take a half-day sightseeing tour of Dresden to see the Zwinger Palace, Cathedral, and Neustadt Quarter. Performance as part of the American Celebration of Music in Germany. Transfer to Leipzig. Upon arrival, enjoy a guided tour including entrance to St. Thomas Church and the Bach Museum. Choirs may perform a recital in Thomaskirche. Half-day tour In the Footsteps of Composers including Schumann House, Wagner Memorial, Leipzig Opera House, St. Nicholas School, St. Nicholas Church, Old City Hall, Mendelssohn House, etc. Performance as part of the American Celebration of Music in Germany. Transfer to Berlin. Half-day guided tour of Berlin including Unter den Linden, Kurfürstendamm, Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church, and the Berlin Dom. Visit Charlottenburg Palace and enjoy a half-day at leisure. Perform as part of the American Celebration of Music in Germany. Enjoy a Farewell Dinner and depart for home.
Tour #2 – 7 nights | 9 days
Berlin | Leipzig | Prague
Arrive in Berlin. Take a panoramic tour of Berlin’s highlights and a Spree River Cruise. Half-day sightseeing of the eastern sector of Berlin to see the Unter den Linden Strasse, Russian War Memorial, remains of “the wall”, and Checkpoint Charley. Perform as part of the American Celebration of Music in Germany. Transfer to Wittenberg for a guided tour including the Schlosskirche, where Luther nailed his 95 Theses. Continue to Halle to visit the birthplace of Handel. Take a guided tour of Leipzig including entrance to St. Thomas Church and the Bach Museum. Choirs may sing a recital in Thomaskirche. Optional In the Footsteps of Composers tour to visit Schumann House, Wagner Memorial, Leipzig Opera House, and St. Nicholas School. Tour 3 – 8 nights | 10 days
Munich | Heidelberg | Paris
Arrive at Munich airport. Transfer to Dachau to visit the former Nazi concentration camp. Take a guided tour of Munich including the Marienplatz, Frauenkirche, Hofbräuhaus, and Nymphenburg Palace. Perform as part of the American Celebration of Music in Germany. Excursion to the Bavarian Alps including a visit the Neuschwanstein Castle and Oberammergau. Transfer to Heidelberg and take a guided tour of Germany’s oldest university town including a visit to the Schloß (castle). Take a Rhine River Cruise at Rüdesheim. Perform as part of the American Celebration of Music in Germany. Transfer to Paris with an optional stop at Reims to visit the Cathedral. Half-day guided tour of Paris historique, including Notre-Dame Cathedral, Arc de Triomphe, Eiffel Tower, Champs Elysees, Luxembourg Palace, and more.Enjoy a tour of Paris artistique, including entrance to the Louvre.
