The Lindsey Wilson College Singers had a phenomenal experience on tour to the National Festival of the States in Honolulu, Hawaii. Under the direction of Dr. Gerald Chafin, the choir performed in the USS Missouri “Mighty Mo” to commemorate the 75th Anniversary of the Pearl Harbor Attack, amongst many other performances, making their fourth tour with Music Celebrations International a very memorable experience. Other highlights of their tour included a cultural exchange with students from Punahou School, a tour of the USS Missouri, and experiencing an authentic Hawaiian Luau.
Here is what Dr. Gerald Chafin had to say about his experience:
“MANY thanks to our good friends at MCI. Could not have had a better trip! MCI is the “go-to” organization for Lindsey Wilson College choral program travel. This was our fourth trip and we are very pleased with our experiences. The sightseeing was fantastic, the arranged meals were great, and we were very pleased with our hotel accommodations. The cultural exchange at Punahou School was the student’s “1st place” event. They LOVED the cultural exchange. The Lindsey Wilson College Singers were totally blown away by our experience at Calvary By the Sea Church.
This tour was a VERY fine experience from start to finish! You are awesome to work with, and we are so very grateful for all you did to help us!”
