East Lake High School’s Silver Sound Marching Band of Tarpon Springs, Florida took part in a weekend-long celebration of Memorial Day festivities in Washington, D.C., including marching in the 2014 National Memorial Day Parade. Band Director John Fulton and Booster President Charlie Cavaliere highlighted the group’s experience:
