Cori Holmberg joined the MCI team in February 2022 as an Operations Specialist. Prior to working at MCI, Cori was a dedicated educator who taught for 18 years in the Phoenix area, teaching middle school math and social studies. She earned her BA in History from the University of Arizona and her teaching certification from Arizona State University. Throughout her life, Cori has been involved with the performing arts as a hobby singer, dancer, and actress. Cori enjoys traveling with her family to experience the culture, music, history, and landscape of different places all over the world. She finds great enjoyment from planning her family trips to see and do all that each destination has to offer. In 2018, she traveled to Europe with her church choir as a performer on an MCI-sponsored tour. The next year, she traveled with her husband’s men’s choir on another MCI-sponsored tour to Washington DC & Philadelphia. These two tours brought her the appreciation it takes to offer performance groups who travel with MCI, a memorable travel experience. “When you travel as a musical performer, you become more than just a tourist, you are a cultural exchange student who selflessly gives the gift of music to those who are being visited. It’s an incomparable feeling!”
