Bringing Music to the Veterans of Washington D.C.
What Our Travelers Said
I have traveled with MCI since 1999, and they consistently provide the best tours of any company I’ve worked with. Their genuine care for customers is evident in every detail. The itineraries are always well-rounded and engaging, with impressive performance and workshop opportunities. I especially appreciate the personal service—every member of the team takes a real interest in the group they’re working with. The variety of activities and the full schedule keep students actively involved and excited throughout the entire experience.”

Monday Musings – October 1, 2012
Glorious autumn day here in DC. The weekend cooperated; on Saturday trekked across town to PRESIDENT LINCOLN’S COTTAGE (on the campus of Armed Forces Retirement Home) for Open House. It celebrated 150 years of Lincoln’s presence there with 19th-century food tents, Civil War enactment with “Union Soldiers,” tents, artifacts and storytelling, DC’s Jubilee Singers and other small music groups of the era.
Rio Rico High School March in the National Memorial Day Parade
“Marching in the Parade was an enjoyable and memorable experience. It is a tough call to name one highlight – all of us were really moved by the wreath laying ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown in Arlington Cemetery, the concert in front of the Capitol, and the parade itself. There were lots of tears from most of our group! Really, everyone got a lot out of the whole trip. Adults and students alike were very impressed.”
Powell County High School Band Participate in a Wreath Laying Ceremony in Arlington National Cemetery
“What were the highlights of the tour? Being a part of the Wreath Laying Ceremony at Arlington and seeing all the sights and seeing the students in awe of their nation. The Parade was awesome with all the people applauding the students while playing. I think you are great and I will recommend you to my friends.”
