Mozart Choral Festival in the Salzburger Dom
We are incredibly pleased to announce the latest in our tremendous lineup of international choral festivals in 2014 – the Mozart Choral Festival in Salzburg, Austria.
This spectacular four-day festival will feature a large chorus consisting of mixed voice choirs from across North America. Under the direction of Alan Heatherington, Music Director of the Chicago Master Singers, the festival chorus will perform outstanding works by two preeminent British composers – Requiem, by John Rutter, and Psalm 148, by Gustav Holst. János Czifra, Domkapellmeister of the Dom, will conduct Mozart’s Mass in C Major, Coronation, KV 317, accompanied by the Salzburger Domorchester.
