Tour #1 – 5 nights | 7 days
Rouen | Caen | Paris
Arrive at Paris airport. Transfer to Caen via Rouen to see the Cathedral. Take an excursion to Coleville to perform a short memorial recital, and participate in a wreath laying ceremony at the American Cemetery, site of the June 6th Normandy Invasion. Return to Caen to visit the Peace Memorial. Performance as part of the American Celebration of Music in France. Transfer to Paris. Enjoy an orientation tour of Paris including stops at the Arc de Triomphe, Eiffel Tower, Place de la Concorde, Latin Quarter, etc. Take a half-day guided tour of Paris historique, including Notre-Dame Cathedral, Champs Elysees, Luxembourg Palace and Gardens, Place de la Bastille, and other highlights. Performance as part of the American Celebration of Music in France. For choirs only: Late morning performance in Notre Dame Cathedral. Take a guided tour of the highlights of Brussels, including the Grand Place, Manneken Pis, Atomium, Eglise Notre Dame, and entrance to the Musée Instrumental du Conservatoire de Musique. Excursion to Bruges. Enjoy a canal ride for great views and an orientation to this unique city. See the Markt (Grand-Place), Belfort-Halien, and visit the Basilica of the Holy Blood. Performance as part of the American Celebration of Music in Belgium. Transfer to Amsterdam through Den Haag and Delft, to visit one of its famous porcelain factories. Take a guided tour of Amsterdam including the Begijnhof, the Bloemenmarkt, and entrance to the Anne Frank House. Also enjoy a one-hour cruise on Amsterdam’s beautiful canals. Performance as part of the American Celebration of Music in The Netherlands. Morning excursion to Alkmaar. The village of Alkmaar’s chief tourist attraction is its cheese market. Return to Amsterdam for an afternoon tour of the Reijksmuseum. Enjoy a Farewell Dinner and depart for home.

Marseille | Arles | Avignon | Nimes | Aix-en-Provence
Arrive at Marseille airport. Transfer to Arles and take a half-day sightseeing tour, focusing on the old Roman portion. Visit the Théatre Antique, a Roman theater that was once a fortress. Also visit the Arènes, the Roman Amphitheater that is one of the best-preserved monuments of Roman Provence. Lastly visit the 12th Century Église St-Trophime and its cloisters. Performance as part of the American Celebration of Music in France. Excursion to Avignon. Enjoy a guided tour, including entrance to the Palais des Papes. Excursion to the northeast of Arles. Travel first to the charming town of Isle-sur-la-Sorgue. Visit Gordes, a spectacularly sited village whose buildings rise in sun-soaked tiers up rocky slopes. Visit the enchanting town of Roussillon. Performance as part of the American Celebration of Music in France. Take a full-day excursion to Nimes. First visit Pont du Gard, the 2000 year-old bridge that is a major feat of Roman engineering. Continue to Uzès, source of the springs that traveled over the Pont du Gard. In Nîmes, visit the world-famous Arènes and the Maison Carrée. Performance as part of the American Celebration of Music in France. Morning visit to the towns of Les Alpilles. Visit the deserted citadel of Les Baux-de-Provence. Enjoy time to explore the Val d’Enfer. Continue to St-Remy, where Vincent Van Gogh created 150 of his works. It was also the birthplace of Nostradamus in 1503. Visit the Roman ruins of Glanum. Take a guided tour of Aix including entrance to the 13th century Cathédrale de St-Sauveur, tour the Atelier de Cézanne, and visit the Cours Mirabeau.
