The 7th Annual Percy Grainger Wind Band Festival will take place on Friday and Saturday, March 11-12, 2016, and will feature four outstanding wind ensembles conducting standalone performances of Percy Grainger literature in an afternoon matinee performance in Chicago’s Historic Orchestra Hall at Symphony Center.
Each participating ensemble will also take part in a clinic with legendary band conductor Col. Arnald D. Gabriel, who served as Commander/Conductor of the U.S. Air Force Band, Symphony Orchestra, and Singing Sergeants from 1964 to 1985.
