St. Peter’s Basilica in Rome
We were all in awe just being in Italy… There were SO MANY wonderful things to take away. We enjoyed singing spontaneously at the Pantheon, experiencing the wonder of the Sistine Chapel and basking in the glow of the majestic statue of David. Another great highlight was our choir singing at St Peters Basilica and our Pastor reading the scripture during Mass. We were at the VATICAN!! – AWESOME!! We wish there had been more time to take it all in… It is difficult to narrow down our experience to one specific favorite moment. We were all absolutely fascinated by EVERYTHING Italy had to offer – its architecture, its rich history, its language, its culture, its people, its beautiful flowers and especially its GELATO!! You have to be a class act to coordinate such a detailed tour as we had – the bus schedule, arrival and check-in at the hotels, the evening meals, the wake-up calls, and the local tours… MCI definitely does tours with integrity. This experience was life changing. It has changed my perspective on how I see the world and the role that I play in it. I can’t wait to travel abroad and sing again.
