“Our Tour of Finland and the Baltics was my first trip to Europe with students. MCI was knowledgeable and supportive in the entire process. It was an amazing first impression to international travel. Finland and the Baltics were lovely countries to visit. We thoroughly enjoyed visiting the Old Town’s in the 3 Baltic States, and the performance venues were amazing. The acoustics in the churches we were lucky to perform in were heavenly, and the audiences were full and welcoming! I was worried that we would be singing for ourselves, but that was certainly not the case! We performed for a full house in both Latvia and Lithuania. The choral history of the Baltic states was evident in the attendance and appreciation of our performances. Can’t wait to travel with MCI again.”

“Our final performance in Lithuania was my favorite performance. It was a rainy evening, and I was afraid that the audience might not show up. I was wrong. We ended up having full house and the students performed with passion and musicality. There is one moment during “Like a River in My Soul” that I will always remember – we crescendo to and say the words – Just remember, once again, you shall rise!! When we cut off the sound seemed to ring forever (it was more like 5 seconds). It was a surreal moment that I feel like I’ve been looking forward to my whole life without knowing I was waiting for it.”
