The Delaware Women’s Chorus performed throughout Austria and the Czech Republic as part of the America Celebration of Music Concert Series. Read what conductor, Joanne Ward, had to say about her experience:
“After our performance tour of Ireland in 2015, I knew then I would never work with any other tour company. Certainly, our participation in the 2017 American Celebration of Music in Austria was one of the most memorable musical experience for my singers and for myself. MCI’s knowledge of the cities, their access to prestigious performance venues, and their ability to attract audiences is something I have never experienced with any other tour company. MCI’s attention to every detail makes my job that much easier and more enjoyable.
Our performance in Vienna’s Karlskirche was spectacular at every level – beautiful space, excellent audience, incredible acoustics – an exceptional musical experience for all of us. I thought nothing could top our performance at Karlskirche…and then we went to St. Nicholas Church in Prague! I couldn’t have been more wrong. This gorgeous place did a superb job of advertising our performance so the space was full (on a rainy day!) with a most appreciative audience. My choir gave the best performance of the entire tour.
There is no possible way I can say enough about my “MCI Team”. They were there for us/me every step of the way. Laura Faubus especially gets gold stars in her crown for handling last minute problems on our end with grace, professionalism and great kindness. I am profoundly grateful to all of these wonderful ladies.
