Originally from Omaha, Nebraska, Melanie is an emerging opera singer maintaining a busy performance schedule in addition to her work at MCI. Melanie holds a DMA/Voice Performance and an MM/Opera Performance from Arizona State University, and a BM/Voice Performance with a Dance Minor from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Melanie performs extensively throughout the United States and Europe, and specializes in using interdisciplinary work to make classical music accessible to all ages and demographics. In addition to performing, Melanie is the former Arts Programming Assistant with the Tempe Center for the Arts in Tempe, Arizona, and is an alum of the Molly Blank Fund/ASU Gammage Teaching Artist Program in connection with the Kennedy Center’s Art Integration Curriculum. Melanie is thrilled to be a part of the MCI family, and to help provide aspiring musicians of all ages with life changing concert tour experiences!
