Mozart Choral Festival Join us for the Mozart Choral Festival, to be held in Salzburg and Vienna under the co-direction of Dr. Eph Ehly and János Czifra, choirmaster of the Salzburg Dom. This event is in celebration of the 250th anniversary of the birth of Amadeus Mozart.

Join with other select choruses in the spectacular six-day festival culminating in a performance of Mozart's Mass in C "Coronation", K.317, with accompaniment by full orchestra and European soloists under the direction of Herr Czifra, and selected music to be directed by Dr. Ehly, one of America's foremost conductors and clinicians. The finale concerts will take place in the historic Salzburg Dom in Salzburg and the beautiful Votivkirche in Vienna.

MCI also works with you on a complete tour itinerary to include other exciting European destinations. Your choir could easily continue from the festival to other destinations in Austria, Germany, Italy, France, Hungary or the Czech Republic. MCI will plan your extension and arrange additional performances for your choir in some of Europe's most prestigious venues - from famous cathedrals to local churches, from concert halls to outdoor settings where Europeans regularly attend festival or concert series performances.

Salzburg: Mozart's birthplace is a delight from the first sight of the outline of the Hohensalzburg Fortress, the symbol of the power of the prince-archbishops. The city's picturesque streets with their wrought-iron signs, its spacious squares with sculptured fountains and the noble architecture of its buildings inspired by bishops with a passion for construction, leave memories which linger for years.

Vienna: a city still considered the music capital of the world. It is a city of refined tastes, grace, style and unmatched artistic accomplishments. For a thousand years, Vienna was the capital of the far-flung Holy Roman and Hapsburg empires. Though its people and ways have changed, Vienna has retained its imperial monuments, not as reminders of past glories, but as living symbols of its present freedom.
