Petra Wasilkoff

Performance Specialist

Music has been a significant part of Petra’s life since the age of three.  She has played piano, violin, cello, and flute, but found her true passion in high school when she joined choir.  She graduated with a degree in Music Business from Elmhurst College in Illinois where she was heavily involved in the choral department.   While at Elmhurst, she had amazing performing experiences including singing in the PBS Special, A Christmas Carol: The Concert, singing behind Andrea Bocelli on his concert tour in Chicago, and singing under the direction of Bobby McFerrin in a concert version of Porgy and Bess at Ravinia.

In addition to performing, Petra also has a love for event organizing.  She has worked as the Business Manager for the Elmhurst College Concert Choir which involved being the Tour Coordinator, Concert Liaison, and Operations Head for outreach domestic travel.  Her favorite event to be a part of was the Elmhurst College Jazz Festival where in her four years has worked as the Head of House, Public Relations Manager, and Guest Artist Host.  She served her internship in the non-profit sector at Anima Glen Ellyn Children’s Chorus.  She is thrilled to be a part of the MCI team and keep music a significant part of her life!
