Grace Rolland

Grace Rolland

Performance Specialist

Grace adopted her love of music from growing up in a musical family. She learned the cello, piano, guitar, and singing while playing both folk and classical music in youth orchestras and her family’s cowboy fiddle band. After studying theatre in college, she decided to pursue music performance full-time. She joined the band Run Boy Run and toured nationally from 2013-2017, playing in theaters, festival stages, music clubs, radio programs, and schools. While touring, Grace also organized arts events at home through Dusty Boots Square Dance Social, an organization that she co-founded that has hosted over 40 community square dance and old-time music events in Phoenix and Flagstaff. Most recently, in 2016, she aided in successfully launching the inaugural Paul Rolland String Pedagogy Conference at Arizona State University and traveled to Madrid, Spain, in support of the Rolland Pedagogy training conference hosted by the Centro para la Pedagogía de los Instrumentos de Cuerda (CEPIC).

Grace now joins MCI as a seasoned touring musician, events coordinator, and traveler. Her time domestically and abroad has made her enthusiastic about sharing her love of music, performance, culture, and travel, and she looks forward to all the wonderful experiences she will help facilitate for others through Music Celebrations International!

In addition to her work at MCI, Grace enjoys performing, spending time outdoors, and writing.
