National Presidents’ Day Choral Festival

Music Celebrations International is pleased to present the first-annual National Presidents’ Day Choral Festival, a major national event in Washington, D.C. designed to salute “America’s Greatest Presidents.” The festival will feature a combined force of mature mixed voices singing en masse in the Concert Hall of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts—a fitting setting for this important commemoration. Dr. William Skoog, Director of Choral Activities at Rhodes College, will serve as the festival’s founding Artistic Director.
Percy Grainger Wind Band Festival

The second-annual Percy Grainger Wind Band Festival will feature four outstanding wind ensembles conducting featured, stand-alone performances of Percy Grainger literature in an afternoon matinee performance in Chicago’s Historic Orchestra Hall. Each participating ensemble will also take part in a clinic with a noted Percy Grainger expert.

Music Celebrations International is pleased to present the official Capital Orchestra Festival. This music event will take place in the Concert Hall of Washington, D.C.’s John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. Four orchestras from across North America will be specially selected to perform a stand-alone, featured concert in this historic performance venue.

Not merely a festival for Washington, the National Memorial Day Choral Festival is an event for the entire country – a major event which seeks to draw the attention of Americans to the real meaning for the holiday.

The Festival Singers of Florida Festival Chorus is a program to provide singers with an opportunity to study the art of choral singing and to perform in a beautiful professional venue: Alice Tully Hall in New York City’s Lincoln Center. Participants will rehearse and perform prior to the festival with a professional-level mixed chorus and experience the excitement of "Engaging and Inspiring through Impassioned Singing," which is the mission of Festival Singers of Florida. The Festival Chorus, under the direction of Dr. Kevin Fenton and Dr. Craig Zamer, will perform several wonderful pieces, new and old, that support the theme of "Love and Romance."

Presented by the American Federation Pueri Cantores, this inaugural music festival for high school choirs will join together in song under the direction of the esteemed Dr. Paul Salamunovich in the famed Walt Disney Concert Hall. In a program of exceptionally beautiful music featuring the Fauré Requiem, high school singers from around the United States will also gather for a rare opportunity to sing during a morning service at the nearby Cathedral of our Lady of the Angels.
Los Angeles Orchestra Festival

Music Celebrations is pleased to announce the formation of the Los Angeles Orchestra Festival. Four youth orchestras will be selected to be featured performers in Los Angeles’ Walt Disney Concert Hall.
National Community Concert Band Sousa Festival

This fourth-annual band festival designed specifically for community concert bands will include individual performances at the Rachel M. Schlesinger Concert Hall and Arts Center at Northern Virginia Community College in Alexandria, Virginia, then on the following day a massed-band performance by all the bands on the National Mall. Participating bands will also have the opportunity to visit Historic Congressional Cemetery to lay a wreath and possibly perform one or two pieces at the graveside of John Philip Sousa, "The March King."
Windy City Youth Choral Festival

Music Celebrations International is pleased to present the third-annual Windy City Youth Choral Festival, June 23 - 26 2011. Treble-voice choirs are invited and selected based upon recommendation, and will join together to sing both individually – as well as en masse in one of America’s great concert halls – Orchestra Hall, home of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra.

Music Celebrations is pleased to produce the 3rd annual Rome International Choral Festival under the direction of Dr. Z. Randall Stroope. The Festival Chorus will have the opportunity to participate and sing in a Mass at St. Peter’s Basilica in the Vatican. Festival rehearsals and an additional performance will take place in Rome’s historic S. Maria Sopra Minerva, located near the Pantheon.
Mozart International Choral Festival

This spectacular four-day choral festival will culminate in a performance of Mozart's Mass in C "Coronation,” K.317, with accompaniment by full orchestra and European soloists in Salzburg’s historic Dom. In addition to the Festival performance, participating singers will also participate and sing in a Mass in the Dom.
Somerset International Children's Choral Festival

The fourth-annual Somerset International Children's Choral Festival will take place in the quaint English town of Sherborne, with the opportunity for individual choirs to be featured in the stunning Sherborne Abbey in performances for the local residents, as well as in England’s Historic Wells Cathedral – which has maintained a choral tradition virtually unbroken for over 800 years. Children’s choirs will join together to make up an outstanding festival chorus of 225 singers.
