Erin's love for music and travelling started at the age of 7 when she began lessons on the harp and took her first trip to Europe. Ever since then she's been hooked! She has been very lucky to travel in Europe, the Middle East, Asia, Africa, South America, and North America.
A native of South Carolina, Erin was a member of the Long Bay Youth Symphony for 7 years before attending St. Olaf College in the tundra of Minnesota where she graduated with a B.A. in Music, Harp Performance. While at St. Olaf she was a harpist in the St. Olaf Band, St. Olaf Orchestra, and St. Olaf Philharmonia, with whom she was fortunate to participate in 5 domestic and 2 international tours.
After graduating, Erin lived in London, UK for one year where she worked for a charity teaching literacy in inner city schools, renting a harp for the year of course. She then moved back to the States to work at The Florida Orchestra and is now very excited to be a part of the MCI team. Besides combining the joys of music and travelling, Erin enjoys baking, BBC dramas, and amateur swing dancing.
