The Community United Methodist Church Chancel Choir & Friends embarked on a customized, eleven-day performance tour to sing in the American Celebration of Music concert series in Italy. Read what Minister of Music, Robbie Milam, had to say about this experience:

“The trip was overall a wonderful experience for everyone.  My personal highlight was getting to sing in the masses and being requested by the priest to read the old and New Testament liturgies.  The priest also request that I sing a solo at the end of the Mass to which I was tremendously honored.  The officiants were most affirming of our choir and gracious hosts.  They came over to meet the choristers individually and thank them for singing.  That affirmed their commitment to ministry to others.

Additional tour highlights include singing in great venues in Rome,  Assisi, Florence, and Venice and visiting the Cassa Kim.  Performing for the homeless in S. Eustachio was tremendous.  Wonderful venue and overwhelmed at the outreach this church does.  We made a $500 donation to help with their cause!

Thanks again for all your help and I do want to explore future travels with Music Celebrations International.”
